La Source is a 200 hundred year old French farm, situated on 8 hectares of land, with its own spring and a stream running through it. It is secluded and protected by trees, and surrounded by meadows. It is within walking distance of the village of Asque. The farm is on a hill facing south towards the mountains, many easy walks begin right from here, up into the hills or down valleys such as the Gourgue d’Asque also known as the Petite Amazonie, due to its rainforest type vegetation.

The stone farm buildings have been renovated to include 2 large rooms (one with a piano) for meetings and workshops, a communal kitchen and dining room seating up to 30, with its own fireplace and bedrooms for guests ranging from two to six people occupancy. There is also a quiet library, as well as spaces for games and leisure.

In the centre of the meadow, we have created a pond and rock garden. The stream coming from the spring now runs through it over rocky falls, and there is a grassy space with an open fire place around which one can spend nice summer evenings, singing, telling stories or just looking at the stars.

The latest addition is a separate newly built guest house which contains three independent studios. The two smaller ones each have their own double bedroom, shower room, lounge and mezzanine with twin beds. With the futon in the lounge, these units can sleep from 4 to 6 people. The larger central unit also has an open kitchen and dining table area. The units can be rented for a minimum of one week periods, individually or as a whole for a family or friend gathering.
